What is Canvas?

Canvas is a collection of websites that hosts content for Coastline courses. Instructors will upload their content, assignments, and other information within the sites and they may also use outside websites such as MyMathLab or WileyPlus to conduct their courses. Apps can be built into Canvas to provide additional features based on your instructor's discretion. These apps perform much like they would on your phone and provide additional features directly within Canvas. Apps that are commonly used are Proctorio, Google Drive and TurnItIn. 

The user-intuitive interface allows students to submit assignments, quizzes, exams, and participate in discussion boards. Once officially enrolled in a course through MyCCC, students are automatically added to their course websites which they'll have access to on the first official day of the course.
